What Can I Expect During My First Visit?
Every doctor's office operates a little differently. Hopefully, this will provide you with a little insight as to what your first visit at FRYE Chiropractic will be like.
Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe we’ve heard through a friend or have done some research online. It’s possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and it’s time to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your history, current condition and goals.
As with any doctor’s visit, you’ll start by filling out some new patient paperwork. Upon meeting with the doctor, you’ll discuss your concerns and expectations as well as have the chance to ask any questions you may have.
Our office is different from what most people know to be "traditional chiropractic". Our doctors will evaluate you from all angles - they will evaluate to see if your issues are purely musculo-skeletal, or if there is an internal mineral imbalance (either from nutritional deficiencies or heavy metal toxicities) that is contributing to your issues. We will perform a thorough physical examination and may suggest further testing such as x-ray, hair analysis, urinalysis, electro-meridian imaging, or saliva testing. Once this is complete, we’ll take a look at the overall results of our conversation, the examination, and any additional tests. Together, we’ll come up with a plan of action which will begin when you are completely satisfied and ready to move forward
If you have had x-rays, an MRI, or CT Scan within the last few years, you can either bring those films with you on your first appointment or we can request them from your Primary Care Physician or Radiology Department.
